CAAM-HP CONFIRMED CANDIDACY STATUS.

On January 30, 2025, CAAM-HP released its confirmatory letter, confirming that the members of the Board of CAAM-HP have officially conferred the CANDIDACY STATUS to BIMS for the 2025-2027 period, marking a significant step toward successful accreditation.

[CAAM-HP Logo] is a registered trademark of the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and Other Health Professions (CAAM-HP).

Listing on the WDOMS (World Directory of Medical Schools) will be enacted as soon as the confirmation of commencement of the inaugural class in 2024 is received by WFME (World Federation for Medical Education)

In April 2014, FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research) and the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) announced the launch of the World Directory of Medical Schools. This new resource is the result of a March 2012 agreement to merge the organizations’ respective directories—FAIMER’s International Medical Education Directory (IMED) and WFME’s Avicenna Directory—to produce a single comprehensive resource on undergraduate medical education worldwide.

Listed on WDOMS by the World Federation of Medical Education.
