BIMS (SOM-HP) signed an agreement with LARKIN HEALTH SYSTEM, namely Larkin Community Hospital South in South Miami, Larkin Community Hospital Behavioral Health Services in Hollywood, Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs, Hialeah in Florida, along with Larkin Faculty Physicians’ Offices.
An agreement is made by and between BIMS (SOM-HP) and Larkin Community Hospital, INC. and its affiliated hospitals, clinics, and physician practices to provide clinical education opportunities in the form of Core/Elective rotations for BIMS students to participate in patient care.
We have secured the clinical clerkships for clinical year students in Martins Ferry in the state of Ohio, United States by entering the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) affiliation agreement with the East Ohio Hospital, LLC, 90 N 4th St, Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
UNIFORM CLINICAL TRAINING AFFILIATION AGREEMENT as per the American Association of the Medical Colleges with Med-Surg Physician Group, Inc. (MSPG), of 19 WV 25801 West Virginia, United States:
IMS has entered into an AAMC guided UNIFORM CLINICAL TRAINING AFFILIATION AGREEMENT with the MSPG-Med-Surg Physician Group, Inc. (MSPG), a multi-specialty, independent practice serving southern West Virginia for its qualified students to be rotated for clinical rotations at the teaching institutions in the United States.
BIOPRIST Group, the parent entity of BIMS, signed an MoU with ‘The UNIVERSITY of the WEST INDIES, MONA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, KINGSTON, JAMAICA’ exploring the collaborative partnership for student clinical clerkships and rotations in all the teaching hospitals in Jamaica. This arrangement will suit students who are unable to complete clinical rotations in the United States due to Visa restrictions.
The clinical rotations in Jamaica will be as per the American Association of the Medical Colleges – AAMC.
WRHA in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on the 01st May 2024, has agreed to offer the compulsory Clinical Rotations at all the four of their major teaching hospitals and the primary Healthcare Centres, to the Year’s 3 & 4, Clinical year Medical students at BIMS.
BIMS is pursuing Hospital affiliations for clinical clerkships,and the website will be updated as agreements are signed.
