Passport Citizens from the US and Canada do not require a visa for entry into Jamaica but need a valid passport. Citizens of other countries require a valid passport and visa to enter the country. The passport should have a validity of at least six months from the date of travel.
Immigration Letter Once you have filled in the Travel Detail Form available on the application portal, we will send you an immigration letter via email. You will need to present a printed copy of this letter, along with your acceptance letter, for entry into the country.
Spouse Travel Those of you who wish to bring your spouse along will need to procure a visa from the Immigration Department after showing a notarized marriage license certificate.
Family Employment Family members of students who wish to work in the country will require a permit from the government.
Air Travel You must have a return ticket for entry into the country.
Luggage Check with your airline about luggage restrictions. Make sure your bags are labeled with your details.
